Manafort Indictment Another Attack Against Small Business Owners

If you combine Christmas, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, Hannukah, and the Fourth of July, it would not come close to what Monday October 30th was for members of the #Resistance. After months of tweet storms, analyzing the Russian mind, connecting dots, and asking “Who is Pepe Sylvia?”, Robert Mueller served the first indictments in his investigation of the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with the Russian government. For liberals who always secretly wondered what it must have been like to experience the joy Fox News viewers felt during Operation Fast and the Furious or the time Obama ate Grey Poupon, their time is here.
The most notable name in the indictments was former Trump campaign chairman/unpaid intern Paul Manafort. Also facing indictment is Rick Gates, a Manafort associate, and George Papadopoulos, another Trump advisor who has already pled guilty to making a false statement to the FBI. How ironic that the only person officially snagged in the investigation by the politically correct left is the Greek Papadopoulos, who is the closest thing the Trump campaign had to a person of color. So much for the tolerant left indeed.
Following all the allegations in the investigation can be as confusing and overwhelming as Mike Thernovich trying to figure out who he is going to accuse of being a pedophile when he wakes up every day. Luckily for you, there are handy guides to the Trump-Russia scandal like Buzzfeed’s “#Russiagate In These 12 Parks And Rec GIFs” and Chris Cillizza’s “Trump’s Russia Problem Explained With Popular Emojis,” which can help you easily catch up on everything that has happened.
The accusations levied against Manafort relate to work he did lobbying on behalf of the Ukrainian government, prior to his work with the Trump administration. After trying to kill small businesses with invasive Obamacare regulations that force mom and pop stores to personally perform surgeries on their employees, it is no surprise that investigators beholden to the liberal mainstream media have targeted the work Manafort did as part of his small self-owned consulting business. The left will truly stop at no costs to screw over small business owners at any chance they get.
Going after Manafort for activities he was engaged in well before associating with the Trump campaign shows that the left will never cease grasping at straws to take down the Trump administration. Is Trump supposed to be responsible for the behavior and actions of every single person he chooses to lead his Presidential campaign or manage his Presidential staff? After a year-long campaign and a just over ten months into his Presidency, that is already dozens of people. No human being could be reasonably expected to apply such close scrutiny to so many.
It says a lot about the short attention span of people today that after only a few hundred hearings about Benghazi and a couple thousand hours of airtime about Hillary Clinton’s e-mails the media is already moving on from investigating her vicious felonies and starting to pry into things that Trump staff members did 8 whole months before joining the Trump campaign. Regardless of how unjust this witch hunt may be, the saga will continue to play out over the following months. If anything, maybe we should be applauding Paul Manafort for standing up and taking these accusations like a man — perhaps Colin Kaepernick could learn a thing or two from him.
